Go-to LatAm content and platform developer unveils new terminals division following retail success in several Brazilian states

Vibra Gaming, the go-to LatAm content and platform developer  has launched a new retail VLT division dedicated to the rapidly regulating region following its initial success in several Brazilian states.

Vibra VLT provides flexible options enabling our technology to work with any customer request. In combination with our current online casino and sportsbook platform offering, the VLTs complete a true omnichannel solution, GLI-certified and ready for Brazil and other countries’ regulatory requirements. Plans include to launch terminals in Mexico and Peru in the coming months as well.

Our EGM platform used by the terminals has been specifically designed for this region. It can adapt to any existing hardware clients already have in place, featuring in-house localized and third-party aggregated content. This type of flexibility is a big demand in the Latam region and a fundamental aspect of Vibra’s approach to market.

Vibra’s success in offering its own platform and content on terminals in Brazil in the last year accelerated the launch of the new VLT division. Plans are to significantly expand its content portfolio across hundreds more video lottery terminals in Brazil following the great reception of its games on VLTs in the states of Paraíba and Maranhão.

In June 2023, Vibra became one of the first providers to launch lottery-certified content on VLTs and retail terminals with its ‘Scratch-a-Lot’ product becoming an instant fan favorite. Scratch-a-Lot is a GLI-certified game built specifically for instant lottery markets such as Brazilian states, United States Class-2, and other countries around the globe. It allows players to experience the excitement of Vibra’s traditional casino games like Piggy Cash and Condorito, in jurisdictions that only allow lottery products.

Ramiro Atucha, CEO, Vibra Gaming, said: “Today is a really proud day for the team and I. We now have a complete full range of content and technology products with the launch of Vibra VLT.

“We offer our own content (Vibra Gaming), our own omnichannel platform and technology solutions (Vibra Solutions), and now our own VLT platform solutions (Vibra VLT), catering to any need customers may have, all of which is fully flexible and fully localized for the LatAm market.”

“Our first steps in the VLT market have been hugely successful, integrating our platform and our content across terminals in Brazil and the launch of the new division is the next, natural step. We’re very excited for the future.”

Meridianbet has successfully advanced to the next stage in Brazil’s exclusive sports betting and iGaming licensing process. The company is one of only 89 operators (from over 600 initial applicants) shortlisted at the federal level by the Brazilian Ministry of Finance. This shortlist grants operators permission to continue offering sports betting and iGaming services nationwide during the adaptation period, which runs until December 31, 2024.
This important step places Meridianbet among an elite group of global operators as Brazil approaches the launch of one of the most highly anticipated gaming markets in the world. With non-listed companies set to be prohibited from offering services starting October 11, 2024, inclusion on this shortlist highlights Meridianbet’s technological excellence, commitment to compliance, and its focus on responsible gambling and strategic market planning.
The company’s proprietary platform, which has undergone rigorous testing, along with its comprehensive marketing strategies and responsible gambling policies, positions it as a key player in the future of Brazil’s gaming industry. The application covers both sports betting and iGaming (online casino) under Brazil’s licensing regime, allowing Meridianbet to provide a full suite of gaming experiences to Brazilian players.
Brazil’s gambling market is forecasted to generate $34 billion in sports betting turnover by 2028, with an onshore gross win of $2.8 billion, according to a report by the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). Unlike the state-by-state regulatory approach in the U.S., this federal-level licensing will grant nationwide access, enabling the company to tap into Brazil’s rapidly growing market and diverse player base.
As part of the Golden Matrix Group (NASDAQ: GMGI), Meridianbet is leveraging global expertise and proprietary technology to strengthen its position in Brazil, ensuring it remains at the forefront of this emerging market.
