NRM Group, the leading independently owned gaming technology and software solutions provider, has confirmed six key promotions and a new structure which Managing Director Andrew Ludlow believes will help its customer base across the gaming and hospitality sectors to meet the unique and unprecedented challenges in a post COVID-19 world.

The sextet of promotions has seen Pete Fagg move into the newly created post of Director of Product, in the process joining the NRM board. Pete joined NRM in 2001 and has more than two decades experience within the bingo and gaming industry. Ian Weatherill moves into the new position of Director of Technology and also joins the NRM board. Since joining NRM in 2000, Ian has been responsible for delivering and establishing a pipeline of innovative products across the Group.

Freddie Shreeve, who joined the company in December 2018 as Key Account Manager with responsibility for the Jigsaw Platform, has been promoted to NRM Group Sales Manager. Steve Cook is promoted to the new position of Product Support Manager, James Stubbs is promoted to the position of Software Manager responsible for all NRM development and QA resources and David Place is promoted to the position of Product Support Coordinator.

Andrew Ludlow said: “I think NRM has always been what I like to describe as a ‘whatever it takes’ style company with a robust and resilient outlook. After the initial shock and trauma of lockdown and the immediate task of helping our customers to navigate it, I was absolutely determined that we were going to come out of this period with our game face on and 100 percent match fit in order to meet the new challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead.

“There’s no denying that the landscape has changed significantly and our new structure, which has included a consolidation of some of our trading activities, reflects what has been a seismic shift in our business and our customers’ businesses. I am delighted to have made these six promotions and subsequent appointments to the NRM Board. All are well-earned, all incredibly well-deserved and all will contribute massively to the future success of the NRM brand. I should add that they also reflect the unstinting support and commitment of the team, several of whom have worked tirelessly during lockdown at furlough rates of pay.”

“Seeing our customers return to trading and working closely with them as they open their doors has been a real tonic. Although we are less than a month in after reopening there are some really encouraging signs, some customers are embracing the new opportunities and we are already seeing some new business activity which represents a great boost to everyone.

“Our message is clear, we are very much open for business, we continue to support our customers as much as possible – as we have done through lockdown- we continue to innovate and are excited at the prospect of delivering new content and products in the coming months courtesy of what I believe to be the very best team in gaming innovation.”
