LIGHTNING BOX™ UNVEILS LANDMARK DUAL LAUNCH WITH THUNDERING SHENLONG™ AND THUNDERING GORILLA™
Progressive Product makes long-awaited debut in double slot release
Light & Wonder, Inc. announced the release of its inaugural Progressive Product games, Thundering Shenlong and Thundering Gorilla, from specialist slot provider Lightning Box, one of Light & Wonder’s in-house studios.
The latest hits in Lightning Box’s portfolio have evolved from Lightning Shenlong and Lightning Gorilla to become the studio’s first ever Progressive Product titles.
Thundering Shenlong and Thundering Gorilla showcase the Progressive Jackpot, including the Grand and Major Jackpot prizes. The chances of being awarded either jackpot is increased by opting to use Higher Bet Multipliers, with no upper limit on Progressive Jackpot values.
Additionally, a new Upgraded Respin feature has been added to both games. To activate this, players can use Perceived Persistence in the thunder clouds to trigger this round.
When players enter the feature, the screen is struck with lightning and may add extra Lightning Bolts onto the screen. Overall, the Upgraded Respins are played with two screens and between one and five Active Reels are randomly chosen for each respin. Colossal Lightning Bolts are also available, landing on any spin and splitting into individual Lightning Bolts to further boost prizes.
Key features and symbols remain from the original depictions of these games, with Thundering Shenlong transporting players to celebrate Chinese New Year and users landing in a jungle adventure in Thundering Gorilla.
Both slots also allow players the opportunity to go straight to the Bonus Game with the Bonus Buy option, with players staking 50x to be transported to either game’s flagship feature.
The 243 Ways to Win scenario remains in place on Thundering Shenlong, whilst Thundering Gorilla keeps its 40 lines from the first release, ensuring players can enjoy numerous paths to win prizes.
Thundering Shenlong and Thundering Gorilla will initially launch in New Jersey with BetMGM, FanDuel, Caesars and DraftKings and will be available to customers of Light & Wonder’s industry-leading OPENGAMING™ platform.

Double win for Kaizen Gaming at the SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2024
