GiG extend compliance partnership with Merkur

Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG) have today announced an extension to its agreement with German based operator Merkur, for its automated affiliate marketing compliance tool GiG Comply.

The igaming industry in Germany is a robustly regulated marketplace, with strict guidelines that make compliance a priority for operators like Merkur, placing an emphasis on the need to protect their brand. Merkur is the leading brand of the Gauselmann Group, a tier one operator that provides a suite of gaming products including classic and virtual slot games, money gaming machines, arcades, casinos, gambling houses and sports betting.

GiG Comply is an automated marketing compliance solution that scans web pages for content including links, iGaming code red words and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. It works by using its rules engine to analyse real snapshots from affiliates’ campaigns and provides operators with the promotional content that is being used in their brands’ promotions.

It is a flexible tool, which allows operators to set-up their own criteria and checklist parameters and can be tailored to cover any market-specific requirements, helping to ensure that operators remain compliant.

GiG’s market-leading iGaming affiliate business, GiG Media, is one of the leading global affiliate marketing operators in the iGaming space, helping partners generate qualified traffic through multiple channels, including SEM/PPC and social media. The group has enjoyed significant growth over the last few years, highlighted by the recent announcement of a strategic partnership with News Corp in the UK and Ireland, a group which serves millions of online readers through its premium media websites The Sun and talkSPORT, and have completed the integration of AskGamblers, following a series of acquisitions from Catena Media late last year.

Scientific Games has been honored with the Top GCC award in the Organizational Excellence category at the GCC Workplace Awards 2025. Held on July 11, in Bengaluru, India, these awards recognize global capability centers in India that are transforming the future of work through innovation, culture and forward-thinking strategies.

The past month marked a pivotal moment in NASCAR’s push toward innovation as NASCAR and nVenue worked to deliver a new way to watch the race. Using nVenue’s in-race betting product to focus on head-to-head matchups, nVenue’s real-time predictive probabilities for each matchup were integrated into the race broadcast.

NASCAR and nVenue have worked together since 2023 and recently reached a multi-year agreement to extend their partnership. As a data partner, nVenue has built a live betting product that allows fans to bet on hundreds of markets during races. nVenue worked with NASCAR to build out live head-to-head markets for each matchup of the In-Season Challenge.

nVenue integrated its proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning platform for live sports with the In-Season Challenge broadcasts. The integration kicked off during the opening race of the In-Season Challenge and continued throughout the Challenge, delivering a new level of real-time insight directly into the broadcast experience.

At the same time, fans across the world were able to place bets in real-time on head-to-head driver matchups, stage winners, and dozens of new in-race markets, marking a historic first for the sport.

Behind the scenes, nVenue’s commitment to execution was on full display. Co-Founder and Chief Sports Officer, Bruce Sears, was in the production control room for the opening race, working hand-in-hand with multiple teams and resources required to bring the integration to the air.
