Special Edition of High Five Tournament Series in August with Biggest Prize Pool Ever
Poker players who like to light up their bankroll will be heading to ACR Poker from August 6 to 27. That’s when the special edition of the High Five Tournament Series will run and it’s the biggest version ever with $14.4 million guaranteed.
“We typically run the High Five in April, which is perfect for the ‘420’ theme, but now we’re running a special version in August due to player demand,” ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker said. “So, end your summer on a high note by blazing our smoking-hot tables.”
The High Five features increased guarantees on ten tourneys a day for 22 straight days, up to $14.4 million. Buy-ins start at just $1.10 and five of the daily tourneys are low stakes, so players with any budget can participate and have a shot at the massive prizes.
Moneymaker added that while all High Five tourneys are buzzworthy, players will definitely want to inhale the three $1 Million GTD events. Included is a Kickoff tourney on Sunday, August 6, and a Main Event on Sunday, August 27. Both have a $630 buy-in.
New this year to the High Five are the popular Mystery Bounty tourneys. These are recent additions to the ACR Poker lineup and there’s a $300,000 GTD ($16.50 buy-in) and a $75,000 GTD ($2.50 buy-in). Day 1s are happening from August 6 to 27 and Day 2 is on Sunday, August 27.
To add a touch of fun and in keeping with the theme, the High Five features a daily ten-minute ‘courtesy break’ at 4:20pm ET. This gives players the chance to grab some munchies, have a bathroom break or relax in their own personal way.

ACR POKER GETTING PLAYERS WARMED UP FOR DUAL VENOM TOURNEYS WITH $1 MILLION GUARANTEED VENOM WARMUP
The $8 Million Mystery Bounty Venom and $2 Million PLO Venom are coming to ACR Poker in August. Now, the popular online poker site is getting players warmed up in a big way with the $1 Million guaranteed Venom Warmup starting Sunday, July 7th.
The Venom Warmup tournament has a $1 Million guaranteed prize pool and a buy-in of just $55. There are even paths for players to qualify for free, making it even more of a bargain.
“We’ve never run a tournament before that had this large a guarantee for such a small buy-in,” stated ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. “We hope everyone takes advantage as it’s the perfect lead-in to our dual Venom tourneys running in August.”
The $1 Million Venom Warmup has 192 total Day 1 flights from July 7th to 28th, providing almost unlimited options. Day 2 will take place on Sunday, July 28th at 4:05pm ET and the Final Table on Monday, July 29th at 2:05pm ET.
Moneymaker went on to add that one of the interesting things about this tourney is players can compete in multiple Day 1’s and combine their chip stack.
Alongside the Venom Warmup, ACR Poker is running its Venom Fever satellites, designed to provide players with hundreds of affordable opportunities to secure their $2,650 seats to the $8 Million Mystery Bounty and $2 Million PLO Venom tourneys coming in August. Highlights include 900 guaranteed seats for the Venom Mystery Bounty and 100 guaranteed seats for the Venom PLO via satellites
ACR Poker is the place to be in June for those who love poker vacations. In addition to offering getaways to sunny Aruba and Las Vegas, they’re running their Punta Del Este satellites to Uruguay for the $1 Million GTD Enjoy Poker Series Main Event.
“We run these Uruguay satellites several times a year and they’re always a player favorite. These promise to be even better than normal because the Main Event is a supersized $1 Million GTD and we’re potentially giving you two cracks (entries) at it,” said ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker.
The first two Punta del Este satellites are on Sunday, June 16 and 23 at 6:05 pm ET. They guarantee 12 total Full Packages to Uruguay, valued at $7000 each. Included are two $1650 entries to the $1 Million Main Event, airfare, a 10-night luxury hotel stay from August 2 to 12, spending money, and more.
The final satellite is on Sunday, July 14 at 3:05 pm ET. It guarantees 10 Main Event entries only, so it’s designed for players who live locally, or those who prefer to make their own travel arrangements.
Moneymaker noted that the Full Packages satellites are their Beast tournament. Players can buy-in for $95 or qualify for free by ranking on the weekly leaderboard. The Entry Only satellite has a $165 buy-in, but players can qualify via $16.50 daily Super Satellites from July 9-14.
In addition to all the thrilling poker action in Uruguay, players will have plenty of time for fun off the tables while staying at the 5-star Enjoy Punta del Este Resort and Casino. It has a breathtaking beach, countless amenities, upscale restaurants, and incredible nightlife.
What happens in Vegas, starts at ACR Poker. The popular online poker site is once again sending players to Las Vegas for the world’s most famous tournament. Their Vegas Main Event Satellites guarantee 40 packages starting Sunday, June 9th.

The Vegas Main Event Satellites guarantee 10 packages each on Sunday, June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th (all at 1:05pm ET). Players can buy in directly for $630 or qualify starting at $0 by following the daily Super Satellite path (Freeroll > $6.60 > $66 > $630) beginning Monday, June 3rd.
Each $12,500 package includes the $10,000 Main Event buy-in plus $2,500 for travel expenses. However, in keeping with their commitment to player flexibility, winners can choose to just stay home and keep the $12,500 in cash.
