StarGames is proud new sponsor of Hannover 96

StarGames.de, part of Greentube group, is to partner with German football club Hannover 96 from the 2023/24 season. As sponsor and ‘team presenter’, the online gaming platform will see its logo feature on the training and warm-up kits of the first team, as well as on various advertising displays in the Heinz von Heiden Arena.

This partnership with the second-tier club represents one of the most significant milestones in the brand history of StarGames. The German online gaming provider, known for its Novoline slot titles, will support Hannover 96 for the duration of the 2023/24 season.

The club from Lower Saxony can look back on a rich history in German football and last term registered the third highest average attendance in Bundesliga 2 with over 30,900 fans. After finishing tenth in the league last year, they are now eager to progress to the next level in the upcoming campaign.

“It is a great honour to collaborate with a football club of such standing and with such established tradition. Commitment, passion and fair play are values that are important not only to Hannover 96, but also to us as fundamental cornerstones for our company and brand,” said StarGames Brand Manager László Pados on the agreement. “Most of all, we are looking forward to supporting this team and its fans and helping them achieve success in what is a very competitive league.”

In addition to sponsoring the training and warm-up kits, advertising displays and the Hannover 96 website, StarGames will also take part in promotional activities such as ticket prize draws.

StarGames Marketing Manager Andreas Jansch spoke on the work that has already begun behind the scenes: “This partnership provides us with an exciting opportunity to reach the many 96 fans and demonstrate our enthusiasm for outstanding achievement, both on and off the pitch. We cannot wait to really get going!”

Christian Woike, Director of sports marketing agency Sportfive spoke excitedly about the new partnership and future collaboration: “We are delighted to have gained a partner that has recently enjoyed success in strengthening its activities in the German market. As part of this partnership, we are assigning the status ‘team presenter’ for the very first time. This is a newly designed rights package that guarantees the partner high visibility in connection with the 96 first team.”
