The National Basketball Association (NBA) and La Française des Jeux (FDJ) – the operator of the French national lottery and one of the largest sports betting companies in Europe – announced a new multi-year extension to their existing collaboration. This commitment makes FDJ, through its online sports betting brand ParionsSport, the Official Partner of the NBA in France and an Associate Partner of the NBA Paris Games 2025 Presented by Tissot , which will see the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs play two regular season games at Accor Arena on Thursday, January 23 and Saturday, January 25, 2025 in Paris.

Thanks to this expanded collaboration, ParionsSport en ligne brand customers will benefit throughout the coming seasons from exclusive prizes and unique experiences, including the opportunity to attend NBA games in the US or in Paris during the NBA Paris Games. The league will also organise “NBA Viewing Party” evenings presented by ParionsSport en ligne in several cities in France during this 2024-25 season.

As part of this extension, ParionsSport en ligne also becomes the “Presenting Partner” of the official NBA Fantasy – Salary Cap game in France, a free game that invites fans to compete throughout the regular season by building a roster of 10 NBA players under a salary cap of $100 million. Several prizes will be at stake, including a trip to attend an NBA Finals game for the big winner in France.

SunBet Extends Online Betting Platform Contract with Bede Gaming Amid Record-Breaking Performance

Bede Gaming has secured a further contract extension with South African online sports betting brand SunBet, the digital arm of Sun International and one of the fastest growing operators in the SA online market.

The new contract renewal comes as SunBet reports record-breaking digital growth in its H1-24 performance report, including a 72% year-over-year (YoY) growth in revenue and 72% increase in active players, driving an 89% improvement in EBITDA.

As a leading supplier of software to the igaming industry, Bede has supported the ambitions of this customer with tailored features and services to achieve SunBet’s business objectives while delivering the highest cost efficiencies.

Since the launch of the SunBet Slots offering in 2022, Bede has provided various additional optimisations, including integrating 7 new game providers to SunBet.co.za, releasing enhancements to the existing Kambi Sportsbook integration functionality, and delivering bespoke training on product features such as Bede’s powerful rules engine and bonusing suite.
