Swintt soars to new heights in Win Eagle
Award-winning software provider’s latest premium release features expanding wilds, respins and a Wheel of Fortune bonus where the sky’s the limit on what players can win
This month, high-flying casino game suppliers, Swintt, are inviting players to soar above the clouds in their latest Win Eagle slot – a brand-new Premium release that features max wins of 800x the selected stake and a Wheel of Fortune bonus that can pay out MAXI jackpot prizes.
Played out on a traditional 3×3 reel matrix, Win Eagle draws on the iconic design elements of classic land-based slots and gives them a modern twist with the help of state-of-the-art visuals and innovative features. Action takes place to a backdrop of rolling mountains and clear blue skies, while the symbols that feature on the reels are made up of familiar fruit icons, BAR logos and higher-value lucky sevens.
Where Win Eagle differs from a classic fruit machine, however, is in the range of bonuses that are available to players. For starters, there’s the titular Win Eagle symbol, which not only acts as a substitute wild to complete winning pay lines, but also expands to fill the entire reel whenever it lands.
On top of that, players will have access to a local MAXI jackpot that can be won by activating the Wheel of Fortune bonus feature. To do this, all they need to do is fill the entire game board with one base game symbol, with this transporting them to a new screen where a special prize wheel can be spun.
To help players sink their talons into this potentially lucrative bonus round, a free respin can also be activated whenever six out of the nine reel spaces show one matching icon. Naturally, the Win Eagle expanding wild can assist them here, with one column of symbols plus a wild automatically getting players to the threshold required to trigger a respin. After the respin has taken place, all pays will be recalculated or a full table win will be awarded, with the latter automatically launching the feature.
However they make it to the Wheel of Fortune, players will then be asked to click and drag or swipe the screen to start it spinning. As the wheel turns, the pointer will skim past coloured segments that can multiply the current win by up to 5x, but should it land on the MAXI space, the local jackpot will be won. This will award the slot’s top prize of 800x the selected stake and bring the bonus to an end.
David Mann, Chief Commercial Officer at Swintt, said: “Swintt’s Premium releases have proved incredibly popular in markets where players are used to classic land-based slots, but we always endeavour to pack them with the latest innovations to ensure modern slot fans are also catered for.
“Our new Win Eagle release delivers the best of both worlds by combining iconic fruit machine visuals and simple gameplay with an exciting Wheel of Fortune feature that can award wins of up to 800x players’ stake. With this in mind, we’re confident it’ll help us soar to new heights at all of our partner casinos and we’re looking forward to having many new players come and fly with us later this month.”

Why stakeholders must be vocal as part of UKGC consultation on gaming machines
As the UK Gambling Commission announces the launch of its consultation on proposed new rules for gaming machines, Nick Arron, lead partner for the Gambling Team at Poppleston Allen urges stakeholders to ensure they are heard
The UK Gambling Commission this week announced the launch of a 16-week consultation, seeking input on proposed new rules for gaming machines in retail venues.
The consultation focuses on technical standards and related testing strategy and aims to improve consumer protection through a number of proposed changes. The consultation is due to end on May 20.
Nick Arron, lead partner for the Betting and Gambling Team at Poppleston Allen, encouraged stakeholders such as operators and licensees to have their say on what impact these proposed changes will have, including the potential costs.
He said: “Robust stakeholder engagement is an important part of this progress. It’s important that operators have their say so that the regulatory framework balances both consumer safety and industry sustainability.
“Changes will require affected businesses to update their processes and technologies to ensure that any changes are not only implemented by the required date but also properly enforced.
“As this consultation progresses, operators will need to weigh the implications of adopting these new standards, not least the cost. While the intention is to enhance consumer protection, businesses must carefully assess the operational and financial implications of the proposed changes.
“While the Gambling Commission’s initiative is a positive step in prioritising consumer safety, the real challenge will be ensuring that the proposed regulatory adjustments are manageable for businesses already operating under thin margins.”
Tim Miller, Gambling Commission executive director for research and policy, said: “We recognise that regulatory changes that impact the design of machines can come with considerable costs.
“We are encouraging consumers, gambling businesses and other interested groups to share evidence that will assist us in measuring both the likely regulatory impacts of the proposed changes and the likely costs of implementing them.
“This evidence will be invaluable to helping make a robust assessment on whether the benefits to consumers are proportionate to the costs involved.”
