Admix, the pioneering In-Play advertising platform that bridges the gap between mobile games and brands, is proud to announce the appointment of two senior ad industry players in former Dentsu Aegis Network CEO Nigel Morris, and former GroupM CEO and global CDO Rob Norman.

Rob Norman joins Admix as a senior advisor focusing on the Americas, while Nigel Morris, already an advisor and investor, joins the board of the company. Both have made lasting imprints on the media and advertising landscape, having previously identified and harnessed the vast potential of digital and social media early on, and having spearheaded transformation in their respective businesses and markets.

Based in New York, Rob Norman will act as strategic advisor to Admix’ rapidly expanding team in the US. Rob was a long time CDO of WPP’s GroupM and additionally served as its North American CEO. Rob is also a director at Simpli.fi, a leading programmatic advertising platform based in Texas. A well-known voice in the ad world Twittersphere, Rob is currently a director of SaaS company Piano and a non-executive director of BBC Global News.

Nigel Morris, an investor in Admix, now joins the board of the company and will work closely with the leadership. Nigel was a central figure at the Dentsu Aegis Network for over 25 years, founding the global digital network Isobar and transforming the US Group. He is chair of the innovation consultancy The Upside, on the board of data science business Gyana, and is also a longstanding non-executive director at the Guardian Media Group.

Nigel Morris, Board Member at Admix, commented:

“The video gaming domain will be the next big media channel following social media’s emergence some 15 years ago. In-Play is intrinsically engaging to audiences and brand safe for marketers at scale, and will become a key driver of sustainable growth strategies for brands. The Admix team is very conscious of the whole ecosystem for consumers, brands and publishers, and we have developed a pioneering and agile platform that provides a great experience and performance for all.”

Rob Norman, Senior Advisor at Admix, commented:

“I am delighted to join Admix as an advisor. Gaming on personal devices has become a huge part of media consumption. In-Play advertising creates revenue for publishers and reach and engagement for advertisers. Admix unlocks the economic opportunity with programmatic speed and precision, and does so without compromising user experience.”

Announcing the hires, Samuel Huber, CEO at Admix, commented:

“Rob Norman and Nigel Morris foresaw the dramatic shifts to digital and social, long before others in the industry were ready. They share Admix’ view of gaming as the next key media channel, and we’re delighted to have secured strategic support of their calibre as we communicate Admix’ rapidly developing offer to agencies. This represents the next stage of Admix’ 2021 expansion following the appointments of Michael Silberberg from Google as VP Global Agency Partnerships and Alex Faust from Spotify as EMEA VP AdSales.”

In 2020 Admix saw hypergrowth with an 800% revenue increase driven by unprecedented inbound and direct sales, and expects to double in size from 40 to 80 staff this year.

Scientific Games iLottery Receives National Council on Problem Gambling’s iCAP Ready Accreditation

Published

Scientific Games has achieved the distinguished iCAP Ready supplier accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling. The iCAP Ready accreditation, a version of NCPG’s Internet Compliance Assessment Program for suppliers, confirms that the global lottery company meets the gold standard for consumer protection with its iLottery platform and user experience requirements for consistently safe, enjoyable online lottery play.

iCAP is a U.S. accreditation for best practices in online gambling player protection held by only a few U.S. lotteries and suppliers. The assessment, conducted by independent responsible gaming experts, audited a framework of player protection processes, tools, responsible gambling policies and trainings completed by Scientific Games. This included demonstrating to employees that the company remains committed to safer lottery play. NCPG also evaluated Scientific Games’ overall compliance.

“Scientific Games continues to demonstrate leadership in responsible gambling by earning iCAP Ready accreditation,” said Jaime Costello, Director of Programs for the National Council on Problem Gambling. “This accomplishment reflects a thoughtful and proactive approach to player protection, and we commend their commitment to aligning with best practices that support player well-being.”

The company’s digital platform is part of a highly secure technology suite that delivers modern technology and advanced features to support a lottery’s online business. The program’s heart is SG PAM, a secure player account management system for all player account activity and wallet transactions across retail and digital. Other features of the iLottery program include an advanced responsible gaming toolset and Healthy Play program, as well as powerful customer relationship management components.

Andrew Jackson, VP, Corporate Responsibility for Scientific Games, said, “We are honored to achieve this important iCAP supplier accreditation from NCPG. Our government-regulated lottery customers can be assured that Scientific Games’ iLottery platform and solution meet the highest standards in the U.S. for responsible gaming and player protection.”

Scientific Games serves more than 30 lotteries globally with iLottery solutions, including in the U.S., Canada, UK, Denmark, Germany, France and Turkey. Lotteries worldwide use the company’s award-winning Healthy Play program’s tools and research to provide more insight into lottery players and promote ‘lottery literacy’—understanding how lottery games work, the odds of winning, and the minimum age to play.

Since 1972, NCPG has led state and national stakeholders in the development of comprehensive policies and programs for all those affected by problem gambling.

With operations on five continents, Scientific Games provides retail and digital games, technology, analytics and services to 150 lotteries in 50 countries worldwide.

Leading content provider, TaDa Gaming, is offering palatial style play in new slot release 10 Sparkling Crown. A randomly triggered Jackpot Poker game puts serious dazzle power in players’ hands with special win multipliers applied to the four individual jackpots.

With Expanding Wilds and solid gold Scatters giving multipliers up to 100x the bet, the five reels, three rows and 10 fixed paylines game offers royal win potential with 10,000x max.

Wild Crowns appear on reels two, three and four only and will vertically expand to cover the reel when they hit a prize, turning all positions wild. Gold dollar sign Scatters can appear on all reels. Three, four or five scatters will award multipliers of 5x, 20x or 100x the bet, respectively.

With a fruit salad of symbols alongside Lucky 7s and Golden Bells rolling down the reels and a soundtrack worthy of royalty, the wins can come thick and fast in this mid volatility game.

The randomly triggered bonus Jackpot Poker game injects another layer of excitement into 10 Sparkling Crown. The Club jackpot is equal to 5x the bet; Diamonds gives 20x; Hearts, 50x and the Spades can deliver a game-changing 1000x the bet value. The four suits sit in order at the top of the screen, each showing a jackpot value which could be a whopping €200,000 for Spades.

The bonus game can trigger once a round has completed and all wins collected. Players will see 15 face down cards appear on the screen: select cards by clicking until three matching card suits from Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts or Spades have been revealed which will trigger the corresponding jackpot.

To further ramp up gameplay, there are potentially two types of special cards in the selection that will impact the win value: the Club Deleting Card and the Multiplier Card.

The card showing a Club with a strikethrough image is the Club Deleting Card which removes all the low value Clubs. The Multiplier card brings 2x or 5x the win value and, if both cards appear in the same selection, then the multiplier values are multiplied so the win is then uplifted by 10x.

When three matching card suits are revealed, the corresponding Jackpot Poker Game value is awarded. However, if players take more than five seconds to choose from the face down cards, these will randomly flip themselves over through auto selection.

With a wide betting range from 0.02 to 200 local currency to appeal to all player styles; and turbo play for those who love speed, 10 Sparkling Crown is a beautiful game that delivers big win potential in an easy to play slot with benefits.

Sean Liu, Director of Product Management at TaDa Gaming, said: “10 Sparkling Crown mixes different bonus games and features in a classic fruit slot. This is both enduringly popular with players and a TaDa signature, adding value to TaDa’s exciting and diverse portfolio.”
