iSoftBet appoints Lars Kollind as Head of Business Development
iSoftBet has appointed experienced commercial and sales igaming executive Lars Kollind as its new Head of Business Development, continuing its investment in senior talent and further strengthening the business as it prepares for significant expansion in 2021.
Kollind has spent more than a decade in senior commercial, sales and marketing roles within the gaming sector and joins the leading online games supplier and content aggregator from Playson where he was Business Development Manager, winning the Sales Idol of the year at the Gaming Idol Awards in 2019. Prior to that he was Head of B2B at Global Gaming and Global Sales Director for Aspire Global.
In his role as Head of Business Development Kollind will work closely alongside iSoftBet’s commercial and marketing teams to build and strengthen internal and external relationships, further develop sales and understand customer needs, and implement strategies to increase revenue and acquire new business opportunities.
He is also responsible for reviewing and assessing new ways to enter emerging markets as well as developing new product and service offerings to better meet the needs of iSoftBet customers. Kollind will report to Michael Probert, Chief Commercial Officer at iSoftBet.
iSoftBet has been preparing for a phase of significant expansion in 2021 by bolstering its senior management team throughout this year. This included the appointment of former Microsoft marketing and communications executive Virginie Luce as Chief Marketing Officer and ex-Betsson HR Business Partner Lead Anne Muscat Scerri as Head of HR in September. Former Betsson Head of Data Science & BI, Andrew Bonnici was promoted to Chief Product Officer in April, while technology transformation expert Neal Garman arrived as Chief Technology Officer in June.
As well as strengthening its senior team, iSoftBet this week launched a creative rebranding campaign, temporarily changing its name to ‘iSoftBat’ in time for Halloween, highlighting how passionate and curious personnel are the key to success.

IGT PlaySports Continues Partnership with Boyd Gaming in Nevada via New Three-year Technology Agreement

International Game Technology PLC announced that it recently signed a new, three-year sports betting technology agreement with Boyd Gaming Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, IGT’s award-winning PlaySports platform will continue powering Boyd Gaming’s retail and mobile sports betting offering in Nevada through August 2028. The new agreement builds on IGT and Boyd Gaming’s long-standing sports betting technology partnership that started in 2018.
