Relax Gaming lands branding deal for ReelPlay’s Infinity Reels™

Relax Gaming, igaming aggregator and supplier of unique content, has signed an intellectual property deal with ReelPlay for the application of the Infinity Reels trade dress and mechanic across a range of its proprietary content, as well as making the licence available to its third-party studios.

First spearheaded by ReelPlay’s blockbuster slot El Dorado, Infinity Reels is a unique concept in online slots where each spin provides the chance to add an additional reel and respin with a progressive multiplier. The process of adding reels repeats itself, providing maximised winning potential for players.

Following the feature’s instant success, Relax has attained the rights to the trademark and licence on behalf of all its partners, allowing the supplier’s in-house developers, Silver Bullet studios and Powered By partners the option of incorporating the innovative mechanic into upcoming games.

The two companies first joined forces in 2019 with the integration of the Australia-based developers’ proprietary titles to the Relax Gaming platform and extended the distribution agreement this year to include third-party content from ReelPlay’s selected studio partners such as Boomerang Games and Gameslab. ReelPlay’s latest slot release, Giza Infinty Reels, launched first amongst aggregators to Relax in April and has top ranked on operator sites since launch.

Simon Hammon, CPO of Relax Gaming, said: “ReelPlay’s widely successful release of El Dorado Infinity Reels marked the introduction of a truly unique and original mechanic that we believe will be a big disruptor in the industry.

“The IP deal reflects our commitment to enhancing value and passion for innovation. We look forward to delivering even more Infinity Reels games through our in-house and partner studios that will push the boundaries even further.”

David Johnson, CCO at ReelPlay, said: “Proudly first to market with innovative and inspirational concepts, ReelPlay have only just scratched the surface of what is possible with Infinity Reels.

ReelPlay expect this latest deal to unlock a world of new potential for all involved. Relax offer the perfect base to provide for competitive collaboration and we are excited to see how Relax and their partner studios incorporate the Infinity Reels IP into a wide variety of slot games.”

National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (NVSEP) to Begin Free Self-Exclusion Assistance in Four US Jurisdictions

Published

idPair Inc., an award-winning provider of safer gambling technology, announced the upcoming launch of free self-exclusion assistance in Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, and Tennessee this August, as part of the first phase of the National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (NVSEP). Where states require a notarized form, a free remote online notary will be provided through the NVSEP platform to remove any cost for individuals. Importantly, there will be no changes to the respective state programs or how operators receive and process the self-exclusion information as part of this initiative.

Depending on the state, self-exclusion options will be available for casinos, online sports betting, online casino, online poker, fantasy sports, and/or horseracing. Each jurisdiction has its own unique gambling landscape, and individuals seeking to self-exclude are encouraged to visit www.NVSEP.com/jurisdictions to learn more, including which products and properties have a supported option.

Jonathan Aiwazian, CEO of idPair, said: “For the first time ever, individuals seeking a wider level of protection can self-exclude from multiple states in a streamlined fashion. While today we announce our ability to provide free assistance with self-exclusion in each of these 4 states, more jurisdictions are on the way, as we accelerate toward our goal of removing barriers for people seeking protection across all gambling jurisdictions and products.”

With future phases of NVSEP planning a deeper level of integration and potential to directly connect with the Player Account Management (PAM) systems of gambling operators, gambling regulators can one day ensure that voluntary self-exclusions are instantaneously processed, providing immediate protection for those who opt-in to the program, a major leap in efficiency to the current processing times in some existing programs.
