BetMGM Appoints Tim Howard as Brand Ambassador

BetMGM has appointed retired U.S. soccer star Tim Howard as its celebrity brand ambassador.

Howard’s addition to the BetMGM team launches a series of free-to-play games and promotions, among other activations, that the sports betting leader is planning in conjunction with the upcoming 2022 international soccer events and matches.

“America’s excitement for soccer is at a fever pitch and I can’t wait to take it to the next level with BetMGM, offering new ways for fans to get engaged in the game. BetMGM is at the forefront of the sports betting industry and I’m proud to be part of the team ahead of the greatest tournament in all of sports,” Howard said.

“Tim Howard’s performances on the pitch thrilled a generation of U.S. soccer fans. With Tim’s support, we will bring a similar level of excitement to our customers through various games and interactive opportunities,” Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, said.

Howard was a mainstay on the U.S. Men’s National Team, holding the record for most saves by a U.S. goalkeeper in a World Cup game. Howard won the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup and was voted the CONCACAF Goalkeeper of the Year in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Following more than two decades in the English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and international play, Howard cemented his legacy as one of the sport’s all-time greats.

Howard will engage with BetMGM players and MGM Rewards members through public and private events, both virtual and in-person. He also will appear in BetMGM social media content and make guest appearances on nationwide radio and television programs.

Bragg Gaming Expands in Pennsylvania with BetMGM

Bragg Gaming Group has announced the launch of its newest games and Remote Game Server (RGS) technology with BetMGM in Pennsylvania.

This marks the third state in which Bragg content is live with BetMGM, following earlier launches including in Michigan in 2022 and New Jersey in 2023 respectively. BetMGM players in Pennsylvania can now enjoy popular titles such as “Egyptian Magic” and “Fairy Dust” from Bragg’s Atomic Slot Lab proprietary content studio with further titles set to follow.

Players will soon gain access to content from Bragg’s Las Vegas-based proprietary content studio Wild Streak Gaming, as well as titles from multiple exclusive content partners under the Powered By Bragg program including King Show Games and Sega Sammy Creation.

This expansion underscores Bragg’s commitment to delivering innovative and engaging content to players across North America. BetMGM announced that Great Place To Work and Fortune magazine have recognized the operator as one of this year’s Best Workplaces in New York. The leading sports betting and iGaming operator landed at No.16 and secured the spot on the prestigious list by surpassing rigorous benchmarks, establishing itself as one of the best workplaces among companies headquartered in the New York region. About 92% of employees surveyed said that BetMGM is a great place to work, 35% points higher than the average U.S. company.

“Landing on this prestigious list is a reflection of BetMGM’s ongoing commitment to fostering a great work environment. I am honored to lead an organization filled with dedicated and talented employees who have created a place where people feel welcomed and supported,” Adam Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, said.

To determine the Fortune Best Workplaces in New York List, Great Place To Work collected nearly 140,000 confidential survey responses from employees at eligible companies. Via the Trust Index Survey, employees shared honest feedback about their experience by responding to 60 statements about the employee experience and answering two open-ended questions. To be eligible for the list, companies must be Great Place To Work Certified and headquartered in the New York region.

Some other figures from the survey revealed that 96% of BetMGM employees were made to feel welcome when they joined the company and 94% of employees surveyed are proud to tell others that they work at BetMGM.
