High 5 Games Set to Heat Things up in the Great White North
All eyes on Canada as slot producer expands presence in North America
As the Canadian iGaming market continues to evolve, High 5 Games has confirmed that Canada is on its radar. The online slot maker is putting Ontario on the front burner as it continues to expand across North America in every regulated market.
Tony Singer, CEO of High 5 Games, commented: “We’ve heard from countless land-based players in Canada asking when they’ll be able to play the High 5 slots they love online. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re focusing on putting our games in front of more eyes through partnerships with licensed online operators. We’ll have more to come soon.”
Players north of the 49th parallel are already familiar with the large collection of games from the New York-based slot maker. High 5 Games slots can be found on the floor of every major land-based casino in Canada. The company also operates a social casino in Canada, with free games accessible at High5Casino.com, on Facebook, or on iOS and Android.
With Ontario opening up to new operators this year, and with single-game sports wagering now the law of the land, the Canadian market is undergoing a major transformation. High 5 Games plans to be front and center.

Edict Egaming Secures Approval for Ontario Licence
Edict egaming has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to provide its games for the online casino market in the Canadian province. This applies to both the German edict egaming GmbH and Edict Malta Limited. From now on, the Merkur Group subsidiary will be able to offer its popular Merkur slots in one of the largest North American markets.
“We are delighted to have received AGCO approval for our Merkur games in Ontario. This is definitely a big step for edict and we are very excited to showcase ourselves to new audiences on the global stage in this dynamic market,” Dominic-Daniel Liénard, CEO of edict egaming GmbH, said.
The AGCO is working with the Government of Ontario and iGaming Ontario (iGO) to establish a new online gaming market that helps protect consumers gambling through private gaming companies. This license certifies that edict operates within the framework of strict laws and meets the requirements for responsible gaming.
