Conscious Gaming announced today the appointment of gaming industry veteran Blair Aronson (formerly Albanese) as its new Operations Director.

Blair joins Conscious Gaming after spending the past three years as the Director, Customer Success – Americas, for SGDigital, the online division of Scientific Games Corporation.

An independent non-profit established by the founders of GeoComply, Conscious Gaming is committed to utilizing advanced technology to propel social responsibility initiatives.

Conscious Gaming works with gaming operators, regulators, sports leagues, suppliers, responsible gaming advocacy groups, academics and treatment professionals to better protect consumers and enhance responsible gaming and sport integrity programs.

Prior to her work with SGDigital, Blair spent five years with the NYX Gaming Group, as the Director of Operations. NYX Gaming was acquired by Scientific Games in 2018. She becomes Conscious Gaming’s second full-time employee.

Just last month Conscious Gaming announced an agreement with Golden Nugget Online Gaming, who has agreed to deploy PlayPause, an innovative universal cross-state, cross-operator solution for user identification created to modernize and strengthen the effectiveness of the U.S. gaming industry’s responsible gaming programs. GNOG joins BetMGM/Entain, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board as recent PlayPause adoptees.

“As we continue to make progress with PlayPause, it was important to add someone with Blair’s skillset to ensure proper implementation of the technology for our clients,” said Conscious Gaming Trustee Anna Sainsbury. “She has a wealth of experience, knowledge and relationships that as we continue to grow, will help us deliver on our promise to protect consumers.”

Blair will be responsible for the management, scaling and optimization of PlayPause, working with gaming operators, state regulators, sports leagues and platform providers. She will also serve in a Chief of Staff capacity for Conscious Gaming within the Service Delivery and Operations teams, helping with the continual improvements on the structure and process of customer-facing teams as we grow.

“I am thrilled Anna has offered me the opportunity to work alongside her in an organization with such an important mission,” said Blair Aronson. “The online gaming business is growing rapidly and the need to modernize and strengthen responsible gaming will be critical to its success. I look forward to continuing the relationships I have built throughout my career to help roll out the PlayPause technology.”

Blair will report to Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications Seth Palansky and work closely to successfully recruit and onboard new PlayPause members and deliver on shared goals and priorities.

Prime Skill Games Inc. Official Response to AGCO Press Release

As CEO of Prime Skill Games Inc., I feel compelled to address recent comments made by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regarding so-called unapproved gambling machines in convenience stores across the province.

Let me be perfectly clear

Our machines are not gambling devices. They are entirely skill-based, fully compliant with the law, and built on the fundamental idea that players are in control. The outcome of every session is determined solely by the player’s ability, not by random chance.

Prime Skill Games is proud to be the only true skill game operating in Ontario today.

We categorically reject any suggestion that our products fall under the definition of unregulated gambling. Such statements are inaccurate, misleading, and fail to recognize the critical distinction between games of skill and games of chance.

We stand firmly behind the legality of our machines and the integrity of our operations. We will demonstrate this through every available means, whether through legal documentation, expert analysis, or, if necessary, before the courts. We are prepared and unafraid to defend the truth.

To our players, partners, and business community, we want to reassure you that our mission has not changed. We are committed to offering a responsible, transparent, and innovative entertainment experience. We will not be intimidated by broad and baseless accusations, and we will continue to move forward with strength and clarity.

Sincerely

Matt Zamroźniak
