BetSwap Partners with Scientific Games by Joining OpenArena Platform
Sportsbooks on OpenArena to benefit from industry-first marketplace concept
Scientific Games Corporation has reached a deal to partner with BetSwap Limited, the first fully integrated online secondary marketplace for sportsbooks. The BetSwap platform provides bettors with an industry-first ability to buy and sell active betslips with other bettors on their sportsbook of choice, whether it is before or during a match – as long as the outcome hasn’t been settled.
The BetSwap plug-in software allows online sportsbook businesses to create a fully integrated online secondary marketplace. By integrating the BetSwap platform, sportsbooks can engage their bettors in new ways through the marketplace and through the social elements attached to the buying and selling of betslips. The integration into OpenArena will provide sportsbooks with an easy way to enable the BetSwap platform, which complements the traditional cash-out feature.
The addition of this peer-to-peer marketplace strengthens the OpenArena platform offering and provides sportsbooks with an opportunity to increase engagement levels with bettors and create additional revenue streams that were not previously available.
Brent Winston, Co-Founder and CEO of BetSwap Limited, said: “We are very excited to be partnering with Scientific Games in order to bring our innovative solution with industry-first functionality to the sports betting industry. We believe this partnership will provide an enjoyable and competitive new way for bettors to interact with their sportsbook – and other bettors – all while enhancing their betting experiences.”
Keith O’Loughlin, SVP Sportsbook, Digital at Scientific Games, said: “BetSwap’s forward-thinking offering is a great addition to our OpenArena solution and will give users new betting experiences which is always a key focus for us; to bring new and innovative tools to our products. The partnership with BetSwap encapsulates just that.”
