BetMakers Technology Group has introduced OneWatch, an innovative new wagering terminal monitoring and analytics tool designed to transform wagering terminal support operations from manual and reactive to smart and proactive.

OneWatch provides BetMakers and its Global Tote division with a powerful tool for proactive terminal maintenance and support services. Key features of the OneWatch solution include:

  • Centralised Monitoring of the entire wagering terminal estate with a single, consolidated dashboard.
  • Real time status indicators, alerts and general health reports.
  • Historical data for analysis, performance metrics and to support data-driven decision making.
  • Dashboard Integration with third party automation tools.

Global Tote’s own operations teams will utilize OneWatch to manage the thousands of BetLine Series wagering terminals deployed by Global Tote for racetrack and off-track betting operators across the US. In addition, OneWatch will provide Global Tote clients with valuable insight into their BetLine terminals, with a centralised dashboard and historical information for reporting and analysis. OneWatch is also available to clients who acquire BetLine terminals outright, giving them visibility into terminal performance along with the tools to implement proactive service and drive higher levels of customer satisfaction.

Karl Begg, Chief Technology Officer of BetMakers Technology Group, said: “At BetMakers, we simplify betting so one goal of our BetLine Series was to ensure that all core elements of wagering terminal service could be monitored and analysed, centrally, for resource allocation, proactive services, and rapid incident resolution. Whether deployed for our North American clients or by a client that owns their own BetLine terminals, OneWatch will give support teams comprehensive oversight of critical wagering terminal systems, ensuring that nothing escapes attention.

WagerWire, a sports gaming marketplace technology company serving sportsbooks and fantasy operators, announced that buying and selling is now live in their app, available in the iOS and Google Play stores. This marks the first time that fantasy players can legally buy and sell daily fantasy Pick’em entries with the tap of a button.

WagerWire users are now able to buy and sell RealTime Fantasy Sports entries on the app, with more fantasy operators to be added for trading soon. WagerWire announced their integration with RealTime Fantasy in January 2024, allowing users to sell their Pick’em lineups while in progress, including during the actual game, directly on the RTFS platform. During the NFL playoffs, the marketplace saw 12% of all DFS Pick’em lineups sell on the secondary market.

“This is a paradigm shifting moment for fantasy. This launch represents a way to bring more ownership and control over their entries. For the first time, there is a way to cash in on your lineups even if they go on to lose – by selling it to a friend or on the open market. The excitement is palpable,” said WagerWire Co-Founder and CEO Zach Doctor.

The newly launched fantasy marketplace is the latest addition to the growing technology portfolio of WagerWire’s parent company Wire Industries Inc. Their app already hosts an array of marketplace tools for both sports betting and fantasy including stat tracking, account syncing, bet value graph builders and calculator, and social features that allow users to follow how their friends, influencers, or sharps are playing.

“I’ve been playing fantasy for years, but being able to sell my DFS lineups is game-changing. I’m also loving being able to buy and sell in-game and see the progress of my picks with live price suggestions. The RT marketplace in the WagerWire app takes an already great and easy-to-use experience to the next level,” said Braiden Payne, RealTime Fantasy Sports veteran user.

WagerWire was recently shortlisted for two awards at SBC North America – Rising Star of the Year and Affiliate of the Year, in addition to EGR’s Rising Star of the Year and Hashtag Sport’s Best X Presence award.

SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator Launches Crash Game Tournaments

The SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator, a leading content hub for iGaming projects, introduced a new game category to its Tournament Tool. Crash games can now be included in tournaments alongside live games and slots. Operators can now create mixed tournaments featuring all types of games or organise tournaments focusing on a single game type.

As more game categories join the Tournament Tool, developers introduce specific measures to accommodate their unique mechanics. For crash games, operators now have the option to add a delay in calculating the final leaderboard. This delay helps exclude rollback bets from the results, ensuring fair and accurate tournament standings.

Crash games continue to gain popularity due to their simplicity, speed, and the level of control they offer, which is often lacking in slots. These games consistently rank among the top popular titles.

SOFTSWISS has analysed and compared player preferences in its focus regions and identified regional trends. Crash games are more popular in Latin America than in Europe. In Q2 2024, Aviator, the most popular crash game, ranked in the top 5 games globally and in Latin America, while slots dominated the European market. The share of crash games in Latin America was 3.9% of all games in Q2, compared to less than 1% in Europe.

SOFTSWISS’ market research in South Africa indicates that fast-paced games that offer instant gratification attract local players. Crash games’ straightforward mechanics and quick results help increase their popularity.

“We have integrated crash games into tournaments, aligning with gamification and social interaction trends. Previously, crash games attracted users with their social elements. Now, any game can become social and even more engaging as players can compete in tournaments across different game categories. The combination of tournaments with crash games, live games, and slots is truly winning – it enhances player experience and boosts casino performance,” said Tatyana Kaminskaya, Head of SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator.

According to internal research, integrating the Tournament Tool results in an average 4.23% increase in player spending during tournaments, rising to 9.01% post-tournament (based on 36 tournaments by ten operators).
