Caesars Sportsbook Launches in Maine on Mobile and Desktop

Sports wagering is live in Maine, and Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced that its flagship sports wagering platform, Caesars Sportsbook, is accepting sports wagers on mobile and desktop in the Pine Tree State. Caesars Sportsbook launches through Caesars’ historic partnership with three of the Wabanaki Nations: the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi’kmaq Nation and the Penobscot Nation, furthering Caesars Entertainment’s longtime commitment to supporting Indian gaming.

The launch of Caesars Sportsbook delivers on that pedigree with a platform built for the modern sports fan 21 and older with exciting ways to wager responsibly on the sports they love. Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced the launch of its first branded, live dealer studio inside one of its world-class destinations made possible through its partnership with Evolution. The debut of the space inside Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey marks the second custom studio made for Caesars live dealer offerings on its online casino platforms following the launch of its first such studio in Pennsylvania earlier this year.

Players 21 and older on Caesars’ online gaming platforms Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino, and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino can now enjoy a live dealer experience on mobile that draws inspiration from table game play at the Las Vegas Strip’s most iconic casino, Caesars Palace.

“The opening of this branded studio at one of our Caesars Rewards destinations introduces the newest addition to our ever-expanding online gaming platforms. Caesars Entertainment has announced the addition of two new independent directors to its Board of Directors. Jesse Lynn, General Counsel of Icahn Enterprises, and Ted Papapostolou, Chief Financial Officer of Icahn Enterprises, will join the Caesars Board effective immediately, subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment, said: “I would like to welcome Jesse and Ted to the Board. Jesse and Ted bring diverse and relevant experience that will assist the Board in maximizing value for all shareholders.”

Carl C. Icahn said: “I have great respect for Tom Reeg and the senior management team and what they have accomplished since the merger in 2020. We look forward to working with Tom and the Board to maximize value for all shareholders, including by exploring strategic alternatives for the Company’s underappreciated digital business.”

With the additions of Mr. Lynn and Mr. Papapostolou, the Caesars Board will expand to 12 directors, 10 of whom are independent.
