The Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation (JIVDC), owner and operator of Jamul Casino, closed on $515 million of Senior Secured Credit Facilities (the Credit Facilities) with a syndicate of commercial banks led by KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc.

Caesars Entertainment has announced the relaunch of Tropicana Online Casino in the state of New Jersey. The new iCasino app and online casino experience offer customers enhanced functionality with a catalogue of industry-leading casino games and an improved integration with the industry-leading loyalty programme, Caesars Rewards.

Partnerships

Bally’s Corporation announced a multi-year partnership with Minor League Baseball (MiLB) that makes Bally’s the first-ever National Media Rightsholder and Exclusive Fantasy & Gaming Partner of MiLB.

Encore Boston Harbor announced a multi-year partnership with the nine-time World Series champions, the Boston Red Sox. With the newly formed collaboration, Encore Boston Harbor now has partnerships with all the region’s professional sports teams, the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and New England Revolution.

BetMakers Technology Group announced that it has executed a non-binding term sheet with The Stronach Group’s 1/ST Content business (1/ST Content) for the distribution of BetMakers’ Global Racing Network’s (GRN) race meetings into international wagering markets, including the UK and Ireland.

Inspired Entertainment announced that it has launched its premium iGaming content with Caesars Sportsbook & Casino in the state of Pennsylvania.

PrizePicks announced that the company has reunited with the organisation’s hometown Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves, as the club’s Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner. This new deal revives an alliance that was born in the pandemic-affected 2020 season.

International Game Technology (IGT) announced it has expanded its sports betting footprint to New Mexico via a multi-year agreement with the Pueblo of Santa Ana tribe.

U.S. Integrity has entered into a partnership with sportsbook NEO.bet. As per the deal, U.S. Integrity will provide integrity monitoring services via its proprietary dashboard to NEO.bet.

Appointments

Governor Katie Hobbs announced the new Director of the Arizona Lottery, Alec Esteban Thomson. Thomson will oversee the Arizona Lottery’s numerous programmes that support the public good by maximising net revenue in a responsible manner.

Rush Street Interactive announced a new partnership with award-winning sportscaster and reporter Julie Stewart-Binks for an exclusive brand and content deal with BetRivers.

Affinity Interactive (AI) announced it has appointed two industry veterans to its executive leadership team. The new additions include Scott Butera as CEO of Sports Information Group (SIG) and Brad Egnor as Chief Marketing Officer of AI.

Acquisitions

Enteractive Media Inc. and Parsec Capital Acquisitions Inc. announced that Parsec has acquired a majority interest in Enteractive Media.

Century Casinos announced that it completed the acquisition of the operations of the Nugget Casino Resort from Marnell Gaming LLC for approximately $100 million on 3 April 2023.

The Cordish Companies has announced an agreement to acquire Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel in Bossier City, Louisiana. Cordish intends to redevelop the property into a world-class Live! casino resort and entertainment destination including the construction of a land-based casino to replace the existing casino riverboat.

The committee is through the National Council on Problem Gambling and will manage the annual selection of nominations and election of the Board of Directors that oversees NCPG. Last year WyoLotto applied for and was accepted to the NCPG and NASPL’s (North American State and Provincial Lotteries) Responsible Gambling Verification Programme. WyoLotto’s Responsible Gambling Programme includes an in depth plan to ensure the organisation honours its commitment to educating players, retailers and the general public about how to gamble responsibly and what to do if gambling becomes a problem for yourself or someone you know.

As Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon moves closer to its highly anticipated grand opening, the company is engaging with the Kern County community through exclusive informational sessions at Bakersfield College’s Renegade Event Room located at 1801 Panorama Drive. The first session, held on April 4, provided local leaders and invited guests with insights into upcoming job and vendor opportunities in the region. The second session took place on April 5 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Job opportunities for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon will be posted on the recruitment site, www.gotoworkhappy.com, starting in May.

An investigation by the Delaware Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) into VGW Luckyland – a subsidiary of the Australian-based VGW Holdings – revealed that VGW Luckyland was operating illegal online gaming. Delaware officials concluded that VGW misrepresented its services as a promotional sweepstakes while enabling players to purchase coins for casino-style games, leading to potential cash winnings. These types of real-money games offered to Delaware residents by an unlicensed entity violate the Delaware Constitution, the Delaware Penal Code and the Delaware Gaming Competitiveness Act of 2012. With the support of the Delaware State Lottery, DGE issued a cease-and-desist order to VGW.
