Betano Becomes Premium Partner of FC Viktoria Plzeň

Betano, Kaizen Gaming’s leading online sports betting and gaming operator, has become the Premium Partner of FC Viktoria Plzeň.

As per the deal, the Betano logo will feature on the back of the reigning champions’ jerseys. This is the first sponsorship agreement for Kaizen Gaming and its brand Betano in the Czech Republic.

Julio Iglesias Hernando, CCO at Kaizen Gaming, said: “Supporting sports and standing behind individuals and teams who write extraordinary sports stories has been a key pillar of our strategy at Kaizen Gaming from early on. When deciding on our first partnership agreement in the Czech Republic, Viktoria FC was for us the obvious choice. Not only is Viktoria the reigning champion, it is also one of the country’s most successful clubs in the last decade. However, it was meeting the people of the team that was the final and deciding factor. We realised then that both our teams share the same passion for football and this means our cooperation does not begin and end with the signing of the contract but goes much deeper than that, and we look forward to winning together more games on and off the field.”

Adolf Šádek, owner of FC Viktoria Plzeň, said: “I would divide the significance of signing with Betano into two areas. Firstly, it is an honour to join the broader family of clubs of the importance of Porto, Benfica, and other great teams with a great history. Viktoria wants to present itself as a European club on the pitch and in business and marketing, and this connection brings us closer to this goal. At the same time, this partnership is an important moment for us in terms of ensuring the economic stability of the club. It is a crucial and long-term cooperation and this is what I value the most. That and the our new partner’s desire to develop our cooperation even further in the future.”

Roman Maco, Country Manager, Kaizen Gaming, confirms that the partnership with the reigning Czech champions is the beginning of the company’s significant entry into the Czech sports environment. “We have teamed up with a big and successful club, a participant in the Champions League. I see this as a successful entry into the field of sports sponsorship. Betano wants to be a major player in the sports betting environment in the Czech Republic, and our activity in the field of sponsorship will correspond to that.”

Brightstar Lottery PLC announced that it will deploy its comprehensive retail central system technology, Aurora, along with advanced cloud-based software for Sächsische Lotto-GmbH (Lotto Saxony) in the State of Saxony, Germany via a seven-year contract. The contract was awarded to Brightstar following a competitive public procurement.
