Bounty Hunters – a Gunslinging Bonanza from Expanse Studios
The Wild West has been an undying inspiration for slot developers. The latest studio to join the party is Maltese developer Expanse Studios. Its newest slot Bounty Hunters is a true gunslinging bonanza you can try for free or real money only in Meridianbet casino.
The gun-toting slot features outlaws on the reels paired with revolvers, skull scatters, and wilds with bags of gold. It’s a slot with an above-average RTP of 96.31% and 40 fixed paylines. Land the right symbols on them and you can win a barrel of gold in the free spins round with the sticky jokers.

A Wild West Story
From the graphics to the sound effects and background tunes, you can tell this is a Wild West-themed slot from a mile away. Expanse has done a great job with the visual design. The graphics are crisp-clear and the symbols are nicely designed. The symbols are set inside a wooden reel set against the back of a saloon. As mentioned earlier, outlaws occupy the reels along with a few special symbols that trigger the slot’s features.
Playing the Bounty Hunters slot is easy. This Wild West tale requires you to set your bet first. You can go as low as 0.1 per line and all the way up to 1,200. Set what suits you best and turn the reels to start the gun-toting adventure. All the buttons are in their usual sports. You can hit the Spin to start the action or use Autoplay to spin the reels a number of times (up to a whopping 250).
You’ll be looking to land the golden-framed outlaw to earn 100 coins for five on a line. The lady pays 80 for the same combination, just like the bandana-wearing cowboy. The base game plays pretty straightforward. The most valuable symbols can appear stacked and deliver big wins. The wild can help create stunning winning combinations too and pays the most, 150 coins, for five on a line.
There’s a sticky joker wild too, but that one appears exclusively in the bonus round. Of course, there’s a scatter too, in this case a bonus skull symbol that pays a nice sum of coins when you land at least 3 and triggers the free spins.
The Bonus Kit and Caboodle
Three skull scatters will pay an instant cash reward and trigger 6 free spins at the same time. They should appear on reels 1, 3, and 5 simultaneously in order for you to enter the bonus round. The free games play mostly the same as the base game, with a few guns-blazing differences.
Before the round begins, between 1 and 5 reels will have sticky jokers on them. This is the main feature in the bonus game. These special wilds will stay on the reels for the duration of the bonus round and can replace all symbols to form winning combinations except the scatters.
They can also appear behind regular wilds on any reel position. If a scatter appears on top of a sticky wild, it can result in a scatter win and give you 6 extra spins as a bonus. With no cap on the amount of free spins you can win, the bonus round can be pretty lucrative.
All of it makes the Bounty Hunters slot well worth the Wild West adventure. Head to Meridianbet casino right away and saddle up your horses – this will be a ride to remember.

Why stakeholders must be vocal as part of UKGC consultation on gaming machines
As the UK Gambling Commission announces the launch of its consultation on proposed new rules for gaming machines, Nick Arron, lead partner for the Gambling Team at Poppleston Allen urges stakeholders to ensure they are heard
The UK Gambling Commission this week announced the launch of a 16-week consultation, seeking input on proposed new rules for gaming machines in retail venues.
The consultation focuses on technical standards and related testing strategy and aims to improve consumer protection through a number of proposed changes. The consultation is due to end on May 20.
Nick Arron, lead partner for the Betting and Gambling Team at Poppleston Allen, encouraged stakeholders such as operators and licensees to have their say on what impact these proposed changes will have, including the potential costs.
He said: “Robust stakeholder engagement is an important part of this progress. It’s important that operators have their say so that the regulatory framework balances both consumer safety and industry sustainability.
“Changes will require affected businesses to update their processes and technologies to ensure that any changes are not only implemented by the required date but also properly enforced.
“As this consultation progresses, operators will need to weigh the implications of adopting these new standards, not least the cost. While the intention is to enhance consumer protection, businesses must carefully assess the operational and financial implications of the proposed changes.
“While the Gambling Commission’s initiative is a positive step in prioritising consumer safety, the real challenge will be ensuring that the proposed regulatory adjustments are manageable for businesses already operating under thin margins.”
Tim Miller, Gambling Commission executive director for research and policy, said: “We recognise that regulatory changes that impact the design of machines can come with considerable costs.
“We are encouraging consumers, gambling businesses and other interested groups to share evidence that will assist us in measuring both the likely regulatory impacts of the proposed changes and the likely costs of implementing them.
“This evidence will be invaluable to helping make a robust assessment on whether the benefits to consumers are proportionate to the costs involved.”

Any games that have been approved under its newly recertified license in Malta, are also eligible for inclusion under its Class II license in Romania, upon the successful completion of the ONJN approval process. While this certification eases the path in these markets, local regulators may require additional approvals. Operators are advised to present these certifications to their respective regulatory authorities to ensure seamless compliance.
