Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic by 3DIVISION from the Slovak Republic has won the eighth Fan Favorite Weekly Vote at the Game Development World Championship. The game is the ultimate real-time soviet-themed city builder tycoon game. Construct your own republic and transform a poor country into a rich industrial superpower! The game is available on Steam
With this voting victory, 3DIVISION moves on to the next round in Fan Favorite category. The team will meet other Weekly Vote winners in a final vote for the crown at the end of the GDWC 2021 season.
2nd place was taken by LAST SOUL by Wulum Ltd from Canada: “A small robot will discover his fate in this Pixel-Art Platform Game. Shoot, Deploy Shields, Jetpack, Slow Time, Pick Weapons-Artifacts, Create Platforms, Discover Hidden Easter Eggs to boost you in the leaderboard, Enjoyed the Handcrafted scenarios and Amazing Music, and be amazed by this wonderful Scifi Game Story.”
3rd Place went to Drabidiboo by Viverna from Italy: “Drabidiboo is a turn-based strategy game of prediction with a strong meta component, containing a large set of Pets to collect and use to build up your team. Two players compete to gather the most gems on a 10×10 board. The moves and actions are all declared simultaneously so outsmarting the opponent is key; attack, defend or use the board layout to your advantage.”
