Reading FC Extends its Partnership with Casumo
Reading FC has extended its partnership with Casumo, which will see the online casino operator continue as a key club partner in 2021-22.
Throughout 2021-22, Casumo’s branding will be displayed on the sleeves of first team training kit as well as across the club’s LED advertising boards at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. Casumo will continue to promote the club with innovative video content across their social media channels and will lead on a series of ticket and replica shirt giveaways next season.

Casumo’s sports marketing communications specialist Mark Strijbosch said: “We already can’t wait for the new season to kick off and having fans back at the stadium will make the year extra special. Spillemyndigheden: 60,000 Have Self-Excluded from Gambling in ROFUS

More Danes are choosing to take responsibility for their gambling behaviour. On 1 May 2025, the Danish Gambling Authority’s Register of Self- Excluded Players (ROFUS) passed an important milestone: Over 60,000 people have now chosen to exclude themselves from gambling in Denmark. The vast majority are younger men.
The registry, created in 2012, allows people to self-exclude from online gambling, land-based casinos, and betting at licensed dealers in Denmark with just a few clicks.
“It is gratifying that those who need to exclude themselves from gambling are using ROFUS. This shows that awareness of the tool is growing and that it fulfils an important function in the effort against gambling addiction,” said Anders Dorph, Director of the Danish Gambling Authority.
Since 2012, the number of registered people has grown every year – from less than 1500 in the first year to now over 60,000. The increase in recent years can be attributed to increased requirements for gambling operators to provide information about ROFUS and the Danish Gambling Authority’s campaigns. At the beginning of 2025, for example, the Danish Gambling Authority launched the campaign “Take it easy it with ROFUS,” which aims to change young men’s perception of ROFUS and make exclusion from gambling less taboo.
In general, however, younger men are overrepresented in the statistics for ROFUS: Data from 1 May 2025 shows that as many as 58% of all registered men are under the age of 40, and in the age group under 20 years, 96% are men.
“The figures confirm a trend we have seen for several years – namely that young men are particularly at risk of problematic gambling behaviour. Therefore, we work purposefully with information in this particular group, including through presentations at youth educations,” said Anders Dorph.

BetKing Delivers Healthcare Services and Nutrition Support to Underserved Nigerian Communities

BetKing has delivered healthcare services, nutrition support, and maternal aid to underserved communities in Lagos, Osun, Abia and Bayelsa states.
BetKing said in a statement that its empowerment, which ran from May 17 to June 17 under the banner “Month of Good,” marked the conclusion of its 2025 corporate social responsibility campaign. The firm said it deployed mobile clinics offering free medical consultations, screenings and treatment to residents in remote areas.
Chief Executive Officer of BetKing, Gossy Ukanwoke, said the company’s CSR efforts were rooted in social impact, not just business goals.
Ukanwoke said: “At BetKing, our impact goes beyond the business. We are committed to serving our communities and empowering those who need it most. The ‘Month of Good’ reflects our values, providing real help, creating access, and improving lives.”
The firm said its maternal health focus was a highlight of the campaign. BetKing said it provided prenatal care, nutrition packages, hygiene kits and essential medications to over 500 pregnant women at the Iga Idungaran Primary Health Centre, Adeniji, Lagos Island and similar centres in other participating states.
It noted that the outreach also featured malaria testing, eye screenings, blood pressure checks and health education sessions. BetKing added that its staff worked alongside healthcare professionals and local agents to administer free medications and care.
BetKing noted that it conducted a large-scale food and clothing drive to complement the health interventions. The company’s employees distributed food packs to thousands of families and shared pre-owned clothing with vulnerable individuals.
