CrazyLabs Releases Additional Four New Titles to AppGallery
Demonstrates ongoing commitment to platform following initial five game releases
Huawei, the leading global technology company, has announced that CrazyLabs, the top 3 hyper-casual mobile games developer and publisher, just released a further four of its popular titles onto AppGallery.
This move comes after the success of its initial five titles, Coin Rush, Run Sausage Run, Dentist Bling, ASMR Slicing and Soap Cutting, which were listed in October last year. It is another indication of how important the development and potential of AppGallery is becoming to international game developers.
Earlier this month Huawei announced that Rovio was listing Angry Birds 2 and that Playrix had launched Manor Matters to add to its portfolio of popular brain-teasers now accessible to 540 million monthly active users on AppGallery. They join an expanding group of developers that are helping to make gaming the fastest growing category on the platform.
“Some of the hottest gaming companies in the world are eyeing AppGallery and seeing the potential it offers to reach millions of previously untapped consumers” commented Elliot Hollander, Head of Developer Relations in Israel, CEE & Nordic, Huawei Consumer Business Group. “We are seeing a consistent interest in ensuring that popular games are available to Huawei users. The ease with which developers can do this in partnership with us on AppGallery only makes the process easier.”
Israel-based CrazyLabs is aiming to reach out to Huawei’s global audience with two simulation games, Acrylic Nails! and Tie Dye while Light-It-Up is an addictive jumping game. The fourth title is Phone Case DIY, a simulation game for personalising smartphones.
The company has benefited from Huawei’s technical support throughout the integration of its games onto AppGallery, which makes it simple and fast to adapt existing games to the platform.
To enhance the process, CrazyLabs has incorporated several kits for use on HMS, Huawei’s proprietary mobile services platform. The Account Kit, which provides developers with simple, secure and quick sign-in and authorisation, the Ads Kit, a monetization service which allows CrazyLabs to build its audience and display high quality ad content to them within the game, and the Wallet Kit, which enables users’ loyalty cards, gift cards and coupons to be accepted.
Michal Issachary, VP Games and Operations at CrazyLabs said: “We see this as a long-term partnership in which we can grow our customer-base now that AppGallery draws more and more users. We have been impressed by the commitment shown by Huawei to releasing our games, and the support we have been given. It’s good to have another solid app distribution channel, which exposes us to new gamers and creates healthy competition in the market.”
As one of the world’s fastest-growing app marketplaces, AppGallery strives to partner with leading brands and gaming developers, like CrazyLabs, whose titles attract the biggest global audiences. This is allowing the platform to list a constant stream of exciting, challenging and entertaining content, connecting users with the games they most want to play and developers with a new and previously untapped customer-base.
AppGallery’s game category has grown by 500% since last year with games being accessible by Huawei users in 170 countries and regions. AppGallery is now also working closely with 4 million registered developers to constantly bring new content to the platform, with over 134,000 apps integrated with HMS now available.

10-15% Of Gamers In Florida Show Signs Of Gaming Addiction: Here Are 10 Signs Your Kid Is Suffering From It (And How You Can Help)
Recent studies indicate that 10-15% of young gamers in Florida exhibit signs of gaming addiction. These findings underscore the need for early identification of symptoms to prevent negative impacts on children’s mental and physical health. Gaming addiction, if not dealt with, can lead to poor academic performance, social withdrawal, and even health problems.
Marin Cristian-Ovidiu, CEO of FreezeNova, discusses key indicators of gaming addiction and offers practical advice for parents.
Recognizing Early Signs
“Early recognition of gaming addiction is crucial in preventing long-term negative outcomes,” Marin explains. The following signs can help parents identify if their child might be developing an addiction:
Exhaustion and Irritability
Constant tiredness and grumpiness during the day could indicate late-night gaming sessions interfering with sleep.
Gaming Obsession
If gaming dominates your child’s thoughts and conversations, and they plan their day around it while neglecting other responsibilities, it could be a sign of addiction.
Decline in Academic Performance and Lost Interests
A noticeable decline in academic performance or loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities may suggest your child is prioritizing gaming over more important tasks.
Emotional Volatility
Extreme emotional reactions to in-game outcomes, such as uncontrolled anger, known as ‘Gamer Rage’, or intense celebrations, could indicate an unhealthy attachment to gaming.
Physical Strain
Signs of repetitive strain injuries like ‘Gamer’s Thumb’ or ‘Nintendo Neck’ from prolonged screen time are warning signals.
Neglecting Basic Needs
If your child is neglecting basic needs like eating, sleeping, or hygiene to keep playing, gaming has likely taken an unhealthy control over their life.
Creating a Supportive Environment
While video games can be a great source of entertainment and connection, around 70% of people with signs of gaming addiction also experience social disorders. Marin recommends a few tips for building a supportive and open environment for your child.
Teamwork and Setting Boundaries
“Parents and children should work together to create a healthy gaming environment. Gaming addiction requires a holistic approach,” Marin advises. Start by setting clear boundaries on gaming time to ensure there’s room for schoolwork, chores, and quality family time.
Revisit activities your child once loved, like football practice or exploring new hobbies together. It’s vital for your child to take breaks from screens, so create a balanced daily routine that includes homework, chores, exercise and just some gaming time. This allows your child to enjoy their games without neglecting other aspects of their life.
Open Communication
Maintain open communication. Discuss the games your child enjoys and any concerns you might have. By understanding their world, you can work together to find solutions.
Remember, you’re not alone. If you feel overwhelmed, seek professional help from specialists in gaming addiction. Marin concludes, “By working as a team, setting clear boundaries, and fostering open communication, we can help your child develop a healthy relationship with gaming and thrive in all areas of life.”
