SoftSwiss saves its clients over 10 million euro in 2020 via its Anti-Fraud Service

SoftSwiss anti-fraud service makes part of the 24/7 Customer Support and Player Retention Services available to all SoftSwiss Online Casino Platform clients with careful assistance from our qualified customer support associates.
The service enables bonus abuse checks on players, checking and blocking of duplicate player accounts, further investigation of potential collusions, as well as other abusive behavior. Furthermore, SoftSwiss anti-fraud provides identification and recognition of game patterns used in order to extract benefits. What’s also highly important, it consults on GDPR compliance and data protection. The Anti-Fraud team acts strictly in accordance with the gaming websites’ Terms & Conditions, as well as applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.
One of the great examples of exceptional work done by the SoftSwiss anti-fraud team this year happened when the team received a seemingly regular check request, which ended up being quite an extraordinary one. During the initial check it was found out that the player was an abuser. The team made a decision to request verification of the player’s account including Source of Funds / Source of Wealth, as these documents are not commonly asked and therefore are not included in a common package of documents bought on the black market. The player uploaded all of the documents the next day, which should have made us believe they were genuine. Nevertheless, during the detailed document check it was noticed that the player’s language in e-wallet and their native language were different raising a suspicion that the player was a drop once again. Due to that, the player was asked to pass Skype verification. Finally, during the verification call it was concluded that the player was not an account owner but a drop.

Chris Chapman has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer and Rahul Agrawal has joined as VP of Engineering.
