PrizePicks announced the inaugural PrizePicks World Championship, a skill-based daily fantasy sports showdown featuring celebrities and athletes, including Druski, Sean O’Malley, Tee Grizzley, and more. Taking place November 5th through the 19th, the first-of-its-kind tournament will see the competitors teaming up with millions of followers in a Fantasy battle royale to decide who will take home the $100,000 grand prize.

“At PrizePicks we bring sports fans together and push ourselves to build innovative new experiences around watching games that people love. The PrizePicks World Championship blends the viral nature of fantasy sports and social media communities in a competitive format that has never been done before and we can’t wait to introduce it to our members,” said PrizePicks co-founder & CEO Adam Wexler.

12 competitors from the PrizePicks ambassador community will engage in a three week long head-to-head, bracket-style tournament. Each week, competitors will strategically build their favorite 6-Pick Flex entry for Sunday football games, with the goal of most accurately predicting statistical outcomes for their favorite players. The contestant with the most correct picks in each matchup advances to the next round. In the event of a tie, the contestant with the highest number of fan supporters on PrizePicks riding their selections secures the win.

Fans can get in on the action as well. The 12 competitors will rally their followers to join their team before the Week 1 kickoff on November 5th. Everyone who joined the team of the winning contestant will win a Free Entry for an opportunity to win $2000.

The BIG3 announced they have signed an exclusive partnership with PrizePicks, the largest skill-based fantasy sports operator in North America, to become the BIG3’s daily fantasy provider and further the convergence of basketball, hip-hop, and fantasy sports.

Since its inception in 2017, PrizePicks has steadily risen to become the No. 1 fantasy platform in North America for basketball, offering myriad game play options for fans of the NBA, WNBA, and college basketball that include single-statistic and in-game plays. As a result, PrizePicks has turned the game into an immersive fantasy experience from the opening tip to the final whistle.

As part of the BIG3’s own in-app vertical, users and FIREBALL3 fans can compete against the numbers and enhance their viewing experience. Additional terms of the agreement include commercial spots, on-court and courtside branding, in-app promos for BIG3 fans, and more.

“We are very excited for this partnership. What PrizePicks is doing for the fantasy and sports entertainment industry is very similar to what the BIG3 is working towards. This partnership is a mutually beneficial relationship with the primary goal of giving fans the best experience possible. Together, we are changing the sports entertainment industry for the better,” Justin Williams, CMO of BIG3, said.

PrizePicks, the largest fantasy sports operator in North America, announced that the company has reunited with the organization’s hometown Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves, as the club’s Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner. This new deal revives an alliance that was born in the pandemic-affected 2020 season.

As part of the agreement, the PrizePicks brand will be prominently featured on the Tower LED in Truist Park during all Atlanta Braves home games, which is fitting considering the PrizePicks team is growing rapidly with local hiring. PrizePicks will also be introduced as an official partner of the Braves during the radio broadcasts of all 162 regular season games throughout the 2023 season, which will include a daily player prediction segment.

“We are honored to partner with the Braves again, a testament to our commitment to being a major part of the Georgia sports ecosystem. The Braves are a legendary franchise and perennial championship contenders, the type of sustained level of excellence to which we aspire as an organization every day,” Adam Wexler, Co-Founder and CEO of PrizePicks, said.

Baseball has consistently been a top-performing fantasy sports market for PrizePicks, with the company increasing the number and variety of product offerings each passing season. In 2022, PrizePicks tripled the number of daily MLB projections by adding dozens of new statistical markets and creating live in-game projections for every MLB game.
