NJDGE Deputy Director Louis Rogacki is the American Gambling Awards Regulator of the Year

The 2022 edition of the American Gambling Awards is pleased to announce New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement Deputy Director Louis Rogacki is the 2022 “Regulator of the Year.” The American Gambling Awards is produced by Gambling.com Group Limited, a leading provider of player acquisition services for the regulated global online gambling industry.

From responsible gaming initiatives to crackdowns on illegal activity, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has been an industry leader. It also has helped guide New Jersey to record gaming revenue totals, including total gaming revenue in the state in excess of $3.87 billion from January through September this year.

Rogacki’s impact on one of the nation’s most successful gaming markets has been significant. He had a key role in implementing internet gaming in New Jersey in 2013 and in launching legal retail and mobile sports wagering across the state in 2018.

During the judging period, FanDuel was an official sports wagering partner of the Kentucky Derby, making it the only sportsbook where fans could place bets on the race.

The 2023 edition of the American Gambling Awards announced the full list of 11 winners recognized for their leadership and innovation within the regulated, online U.S. gambling industry. In lieu of a traditional awards event, Gambling.com Group is hosting American Gambling Awards winners, judges and other invited partners at an exclusive VIP dinner in November in New York at Carbone. Each winner received the American Gambling Awards’ exclusive Golden Eagle trophy – the icon of achievement in the regulated American market for online gambling – engraved with their details. Underdog Fantasy has been named “Fantasy Sports Site of the Year” by the 2022 edition of the American Gambling Awards.
