In the latest stop on its 2019 global expansion tour, last month saw FashionTV Gaming Group take SiGMA 2019 by storm, becoming the talk of the show.

The phenomenal FashionTV Gaming booth itself embodied the power of the FashionTV brand. A huge deconstructed diamond, based on the instantly recognisable FashionTV logo, the booth had a diamond-shaped bar in the middle that transformed into a catwalk, serving FashionTV-branded drinks.

A red carpet led up to the bar, with FashionTV’s glamorous models walking right up onto the bar. The scene for a true ‘Who’s Who’ of the industry, models and online gaming leaders mingled on the diamond catwalk bar, to be photographed for the Diamond Gold Fame Wall of the FashionTV Gaming booth while ongoing catwalk shows and performances, plus a whole host of unique activities, demonstrated the breadth of the FashionTV content ecosystem.

Bringing the conference to a spectacular conclusion, FashionTV Gaming Group was the proud host of the official closing night party for around 3,000 guests. The drinks flowed, models mingled – and a performance of ‘I want to be a trillionaire’ by the famous voice of FashionTV, Ania J, saw SiGMA wrap up on a star-struck high.

All the action from FashionTV Gaming Group at SiGMA is set to be broadcast across FashionTV channels over the coming days, taking the glamour to billions around the world.

Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Limited has pledged to support the largest global environmental movement event – “Earth Hour” by turning off all unnecessary power and lights at 8:30p.m. on 28th Mar, 2020. It is the second year in a row that APE has joined this meaningful event.

The “Earth Hour” event was started by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) since 2007. Until now, more than 180 countries participate on this event every year. Thousands of landmarks across the world, including the Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House, Tower Bridge, etc., switch off the lights to raise the importance of protecting the nature. Ever since APE joined this symbolic “lights-out” event in Mar 2019, they have also taken a series of other measures such as decreasing the waste of paper and water. The Company is determined to take more actions in the future that will contribute to making the environment better.

“We received great support from our staff on last year’s event, besides turning off the unnecessary energy in the office, some of our team’s families also joined the event by switching off the lights at their own homes. This is the second year that APE participates at the “Earth Hour” event and we want to express APE’s commitment on providing a better environment by joining this event, and we encourage our staff and their family to join this event, like they did last year.” said Mr. Herman Ng, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of APE.

SIS moves into hibernation mode

SIS (Sports Information Services) has today announced the move to close down all non-essential services and to furlough a significant number of staff effective immediately.

With the suspension of almost all live racing worldwide and the closure of a significant number of worldwide retail betting outlets, SIS has taken this action to protect its long term future and to be ready for the resumption of normal service for customers and partners when it becomes appropriate.

In this interim period, SIS continues to supply online content to operators while that content is live. All services to retail operators will be suspended.

Richard Ames, CEO of SIS, said: “SIS is moving into an interim period of hibernation in these extraordinary times. I am pleased to be able to confirm that our intention is to come back just as strongly as before and to be back up and running to serve the needs of our customers as soon as live racing content returns to action.

“We are taking this action to protect the business and to preserve the jobs of our hard-working team. I thank each of them for their fantastic commitment to continuing to service our content partners and customers throughout the last challenging weeks and look forward to welcoming them back into the business as soon as possible.”
