Cherry Play makes its debut in Belgium with StarCasino

Innovative provider takes its classic slot games and smart subscription-based commercial agreement into its second market via deal with popular online casino brand

Cherry Play, the in-demand content provider with a unique subscription-based commercial model that’s taking the market by storm, has expanded into the Belgian market through a deal with leading online casino brand, StarCasino.

The partnership means players at StarCasino.be can now access the provider’s proven slot content including titles like Multi Banks, Super Coin, Chef Super Bet and others as well as its Golden Cherry Jackpot System.

These games, which have been built on Bragg Gaming’s cutting-edge technology stack to provide unrivalled quality for players and a smooth, seamless integration for operators, have already hit the mark with players in the Netherlands where they are live with several top-tier casino brands.

StarCasino becomes the first operator in Belgium to offer Cherry Play’s games to players and to take advantage of the supplier’s innovative subscription-based model. Instead of the industry-standard revenue share, StarCasino pays a monthly licence fee to access the provider’s games.

This allows StarCasino to give Cherry Play’s titles much better lobby positioning and increased promotional spend as the operator gets to keep the vast majority of the revenue each title generates.

Cherry Play only made its debut in January this year but has already built huge momentum behind the studio, launching its first six titles and integrating with big-name operators in the Netherlands and now Belgium.

Olga Bejela, Cherry Play CEO, said: “Launching in Belgium with StarCasino is another milestone moment for Cherry Play as we continue to bring our proven slot games and innovative subscription model to operators in regulated markets across Europe and beyond.

“Demand for slot content is high in Belgium and titles such as Multi Banks and Super Coin have been designed to deliver thrilling gameplay, and potentially big wins, so will absolutely hit the mark with StarCasino’s players.

“It’s also great for the operator to be able to take advantage of our subscription-based model which is proving to be a big draw.”

S. Maene, Director at StarCasino, added: “Cherry Play’s first run of games captures the essence of a slot but with its own unique twist on the gameplay to ensure a thrilling player experience from the first spin to the last.

“If its games caught our attention, its unique subscription model was a catalyst for getting the deal over the line as soon as possible and we are genuinely pleased to be the first brand in Belgium to be able to offer its games to our players.”

Partnership includes Men’s and Women’s football, Olympic sports, and Flamengo TV

Betano, one of the world’s largest online sports betting and gaming brands, has become the new principal and front-of-shirt partner of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The agreement, until the end of 2028, covers the men’s and women’s professional football teams, Olympic sports, and Flamengo TV.

With this partnership, Flamengo joins a select roster of major international clubs partnered with Betano, including F.C. Bayern München, Club Atlético River Plate, Aston Villa F.C., F.C. Porto, Sporting CP and SL Benfica, among others.

Flamengo, with one of the largest fan bases in the world and supporters spread across Brazil and beyond, was a natural fit for Betano. The club’s nationwide reach and passionate following were some of the key factors leading to the new partnership. For Flamengo, Betano is seen as the ideal partner to support its international expansion, with activations planned in both Europe and Latin America as part of the agreement. Equally important, Betano is a brand leading at the forefront of promoting responsible gaming, both in Brazil and across the international markets where it operates.

“Sponsoring Flamengo is a strategic decision that connects us with the largest and most passionate fan base in Brazil, strengthens our presence in the country and further expands our brand globally. We understand the responsibility this partnership carries and are committed to building a successful journey alongside the club,” said George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, operator of the  Betano brand.

In addition to brand exposure through teams and athletes, the partnership also includes investment in social and sports development initiatives, reinforcing Betano’s and Flamengo’s commitment to creating a positive impact both on and off the field.

“This partnership with Betano is historic for Flamengo. Beyond being the biggest sponsorship in Brazilian football, it strengthens our projects across football and Olympic sports, supports our global expansion, and reinforces our commitment to our fans”, commented Luis Eduardo Baptista, President of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo.
