OKTO underline commitment to UK market with appointment of Rob Peché

OKTO, the international fintech brand which was named Mobile Payment Solution of the year at December’s SBC Awards, has underlined its commitment to the UK market with the appointment of experienced gaming industry senior executive Rob Peché to the post of UK Country Manager. In this new role Rob will oversee UK commercial activities and drive the digital transformation of the UK gaming, leisure, and entertainment industries.

Rob joins OKTO from Inspired Gaming where he served as Senior Account Manager responsible for international Sportsbook and Lottery operators. He has previously held senior managerial positions with gaming brands including SG Gaming, William Hill and Gala Coral.

On December 11, 2023, Broadcom gave notice of the discontinuation of perpetual licenses and SaaS, shifting towards a subscription-based model for VMware software offerings and introducing improved services for VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware vSphere Foundation. This licensing change will require customers across many sectors, including iGaming and sports betting, to plan for a transition to this new model.

Gaming Corps – a publicly-listed game development company based in Sweden – will bring its premium games portfolio to players in Switzerland after agreeing a partnership with technology provider Gamanza Group.

Gamanza is renowned for offering an innovative suite of iGaming products, and powered the first legal online casino in Switzerland. The provider is backed by Stadtcasino Baden AG; one of the largest leisure and entertainment groups in Switzerland.

This is the first partnership Gaming Corps has agreed in Switzerland, and marks significant progress in the territory in a short space of time, with Gamanza providing a turn-key platform solution to multiple licensed operators in the Swiss online gaming market.

Gamanza’s player account management platform, “Core” will now house Gaming Corps’ full suite of games, made up of Crash, Mine, Table, Slot and Plinko titles.
