In a sign of deepening ties with sports betting and the league, The NBA is going to launch its first live studio show exclusively for sports betting. The first of the 30-minute program series, titled NBA Bet, will be aired later this week on NBA TV, covering the first two rounds of the playoffs.
The program will be available in the new gambling section of the NBA’s website and app, and a new social media channel dedicated to gambling storylines NBA Digital, a partnership between the league and WarnerMedia’s Turner Sports, will produce the program.
NBA Bet has host of illustrious partners, including WarnerMedia and BetMGM, which is a 50/50 joint venture between MGM and Entain. The Action Network will handle programming for the social media account, while Yahoo Sports and Bleacher Report will contribute to the NBA Bet section of the website and app.
