Stockholm-listed mobile gaming specialist LeoVegas has signed a two-year partnership with the Deutsche Kreditbank Handball-Bundesliga, Germany’s governing body for handball.
The partnership, which came about with the participation of HBL partner LAOLA1, involves numerous activations. These include the allocation of advertising space and hospitality to the three handball-events, which is organized by Handball-Bundesliga GmbH. The start of the cooperation is the Pixum Super Cup, which opens the 52nd season on 23 August with the game of the German champion Rhein-Neckar Löwen against the cup winner and record champion THW Kiel. In the Porsche Arena, LeoVegas Sport will present itself for the first time on the ground by gaming, video-players and on-the-ground activations as an “official sports betting partner” of the Bundesliga. At the same time, the company will be present on the extensive online channels of the DKB Handball Bundesliga. Similar activations will be carried out at the All Star Game.
LeoVegas Sport acquires the worldwide and exclusive right to use the name and the logo of the DKB Handball-Bundesliga for its own advertising purposes for the next two seasons, securing the title “Official sports betting partner of the DKB HBL” and enjoys such an industry exclusivity. The conclusion of the financial statements does not have any effect on the self-marketing of the clubs. The cooperation also includes seasonal communication measures on the official website as well as on the extensive online channels of the DKB Handball Bundesliga. For his social media activities, the team of Handball-Bundesliga GmbH was repeatedly awarded with media prizes.
