iGaming Idol proudly presents iGaming Academy as Educational Partner
iGaming Academy will this year be supporting the innovative iGaming Idol event, which brings together the best of the best of the gaming industry. Happening on the 26th September 2017 at The Hilton, Malta, iGaming Idol recognises companies and individuals who have consistently excelled through ground-breaking strategies and progressive ideas in their working practices.
iGaming Idol aims to set a standard in the Gaming Awards Industry with the ultimate objective of promoting greater employer initiatives and attracting young talent towards an iGaming career. To this end, as the Educational Partner of iGaming Idol, iGaming Academy believes that by offering winners the chance to learn more about a different vertical of the industry through their courses, they will equip themselves with more knowledge to thrive further within their existing roles.
Jaime Debono, Managing Director of iGaming Academy commented by saying, “We are glad to support this rewarding initiative as it is in line with our company’s ethos, in that our existence is all about helping companies increase their chances of business success therefore improving the industry.”
The initial strategy behind the iGaming Academy was to build a knowledge bridge between the potential iGaming workforce and the companies within the industry. This concept grew over time and iGaming Academy expanded its client base not only from the general public, but also directly from gaming companies. Moreover, its range of courses has increased over the last year into the four key iGaming business pillars – Compliance, Product, Acquisition/Retention & Management training.
Less than two years later, iGaming Academy has grown to be the leading training provider to the iGaming industry with over 8,000 individuals trained each year through conferences, face-to-face training and online courses.
Jeffrey Buttigieg, Director of iGaming Idol said, “iGaming Academy is a premium brand that focuses on training for the iGaming industry and we believe that the partnership is a perfect match for both our event and the Idols of the year that will be benefiting from the further learning.”
Delivering company wide training to over 40 operators and suppliers, such as Betsson Group, Evolution Gaming, Lottoland, Cherry, Sky Betting and Gaming, Betclic, Swedbank and many more, iGaming Academy has also recently launched a series of conferences called Compliance Briefing – in both Malta and London. The first edition of this conference was held in June of this year with over 100 senior delegates from 50 plus companies. The conference educated delegates on the latest regulatory change related to Anti-Money Laundering and GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation. The next conference will be held in London on the 12th October.
iGaming Academy maintains that iGaming Idol acts as a motivator for both employers and employees to strive harder, to achieve better results and be the best they can be, and therefore this unique event complements perfectly iGaming Academy’s original ethos.
As part of its collaboration with iGaming idol, iGaming Academy will be giving out over €7,000 worth of free training to the award winners, which will include a full day workshop with speakers from leading companies within the industry.
Owing to the key support of iGaming Academy, one of the leading educators in our vibrant industry, this year’s iGaming Idol edition is once again bound to be a resounding success; a night of celebration, elegant food and top-notch entertainment with ten percent of all ticket sales donated to the Malta Community Chest Fund.
