Bird & Bird expands its Competition & EU team in Madrid by appointing Patricia Liñán as partner

International law firm Bird & Bird LLP appoints leading Spanish competition & EU specialist Patricia Liñán as a partner who will join the firm in the coming weeks. Patricia will primarily be based in our Madrid office and will divide her time between the firm’s offices in Madrid and Brussels.

Patricia joins from CMS Albiñana & Suárez De Lezo where she was Partner and Head of the EU and Competition Law Department.

Patricia advises companies in proceedings before the Spanish Competition Authority and the European Commission in both antitrust and merger control proceedings. Her most recent work focuses around antitrust damages claims in Spain as well as compliance matters.

Patricia’s recruitment will reinforce our Spanish Competition & EU Law practice by joining forces with partner José Rivas and further expand the firm’s growing global Competition team.
